Employees of the Professional Bull Riders, Inc. ("PBR"), RealTime Fantasy Sports, Inc. ("RealTime"), and their parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, retailers, advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, "Releasees"), and immediate families (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and persons living in households of each, whether or not related, are ineligible. Subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void in Canada, Puerto Rico, and all other U.S. and foreign territories and possessions, and wherever else prohibited or restricted by law.
CONTEST DATES: The Contest begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Standard Time ("EST") on January 4, 2013 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on October 27, 2013 (the "Contest Period"). The Contest consists of two (2) seasons (a "Season") and the World Finals (the “Finals”). Each Season is made up of actual PBR events, broken into Contest Events (each an "Event"), and the PBR World Finals Events ("Finals"). Season One begins on January 4, 2013 and ends on May 11, 2013. Season Two begins on Aug 16, 2013 and ends on October 5, 2013. The Finals begin on October 23, 2013 and end on October 27, 2013.
HOW TO ENTER: Anytime during the Contest Period, go online to http://www.pbr.com and follow the links and instructions to complete and submit the registration form, including a valid home address. P.O. Boxes are not permitted. For purposes of this Contest, a registration is “received” when RealTime Fantasy Sports’s servers record the online registration form after entrant clicks the “Send,” “Submit” or similar button. Proof of sending an online form (such as a copy of the message in a “sent” or similar folder) does not constitute proof of actual receipt by Sponsor of registration for purposes of this Contest. Once you have registered, for each Event, follow the directions to draft your team of five (5) riders and three (3) bulls. You may select one (1) Tier A rider, and two (2) riders each from Tiers B and C. Entrants will also select a “Best Bull” who will not count toward the entrants score and will be used in the event of a tie and/or be a replacement bull in the situation where a selected bull does not buck in that event. The deadline for drafting your team and locking in your picks is 30 minutes prior to the event start time. Check PBR.com for event times.
a. Scoring: PBR will judge all riders and bulls, in its sole discretion, and its scores are final and binding in all respects. After each event, each entrant's score will be calculated as follows:
b. Season Second Prizes (one (1) per Event): RealTime is responsible for all calculations and score comparisons during the Contest. For each week during which PBR events are scheduled, the entrant with the highest combined Total Score for that week's events will be a potential Second Prize winner. In case of a tie, an entrant’s “Best Bull” with the highest score for the event will determine the winner of the tie. If a tie still exists, the combined scores for the tied entrants' Tier A riders for that week will determine the winner of the tie. If a tie still exists, Sponsor will compare the combined scores for the tied entrants’ Tier B riders, followed by the Tier C riders and the bulls, if necessary. If a tie still exists, Sponsor will compare the tied entrants' combined Total Score from the previous event to break the tie.
b. World Finals Second Prizes (one (1) per day of competition): RealTime is responsible for all calculations and score comparisons during the Contest. For the World Finals week during which PBR events are scheduled, the entrant with the highest combined Total Score for the day’s events will be a potential Second Prize winner. In case of a tie, an entrant’s “Best Bull” with the highest score for the event will determine the winner of the tie. If a tie still exists, the combined scores for the tied entrants' Tier A riders for that day will determine the winner of the tie. If a tie still exists, Sponsor will compare the combined scores for the tied entrants’ Tier B riders, followed by the Tier C riders and the bulls, if necessary. If a tie still exists, Sponsor will compare the tied entrants' combined Total Score from the previous event to break the tie.
d. PBR Fantasy Contest Prizes: For Season One, there are seventeen (17) events. Each entrant's top ten (14) scores will be compared to determine the potential PBR Fantasy Contest winner for Season One. If you did not pick teams for at least fourteen (14) events, only the scores you received will count toward your total for Season One. For Season Two, there are eight (8) events. Each entrant's top seven (7) scores will be compared to determine the potential PBR Fantasy Contest winner for Season Two. If you did not pick teams for at least seven (7) events, only the scores you received will count toward your total for Season Two. The entrant with the highest combined Total Score for Season One and the entrant with the highest combined Total Score for Season Two will be deemed the potential PBR Fantasy Contest Prize winners. In case of a tie, the entrant with the highest score from the final event of the applicable season will be deemed the winner, comparing prior events, if necessary to break the tie. If the Season One and Season Two winners are the same person, the entrant with the second-highest combined Total Score for Season Two will be deemed the PBR Fantasy Contest Prize winner from Season Two. If necessary, an alternate will be selected based on the next highest combined Total Score for the applicable Season.
PRIZE RESTRICTIONS: Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution will be made unless Sponsor, in its sole discretion, determines otherwise. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize (or prize component) for one of equal approximate value or comparable use for any reason. Winners are responsible for all taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and/or use. Any and all guarantees on the prize (if any) shall be subject to the Sponsor’s terms. Any depiction of a prize on the PBR website is for illustrative purposes only.
RELEASE: By receipt of any prize, each winner agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor, PBR, RealTime, Administrator and each of their parent companies, divisions, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising, promotion, and public relations agencies, and the respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agencies of each (collectively “Releasees”) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use or misuse of any prize.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: Entries become the property of the Sponsor (as defined below) and will not be acknowledged or returned. A potential winner is subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with all terms and conditions set forth in these Official Rules. An entry submitted through any other method is void. Neither of the Releasees noted above nor any Internet access providers are responsible for incorrect entry of personal information by participants in the Contest; for technical malfunctions of any network or computer equipment software or any combination thereof or lost/delayed data transmission, or for files that are incomplete, undecipherable, late, lost or misdirected. In case of a dispute as to the owner of an online entry, online entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address from which the entry is made. An Internet access provider, service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address, deems the authorized account holder as the natural person assigned to an e-mail address. A potential winner may be requested to provide the Sponsor with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry. If a dispute cannot be resolved, the entry will be deemed ineligible.
ADDITIONAL TERMS AND RESTRICTIONS:Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately damage any online service or Websites, tamper with the submission process, or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and/or other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. If for any reason the Contest is not capable of being executed as planned, or infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, action of entrants, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, Sponsor reserves the right at their sole discretion to disqualify any entry or Participant and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest and no prize will be awarded as Sponsor determines in their sole discretion. Notice of any cancellation, termination or modification will be posted on the Website. Entries not complying with all rules are subject to disqualification. No correspondence regarding entries will be entered into with Participants. Sponsor shall have the right to modify, use, assign or dispose of such entries however they see fit without approval of Participants or any third party. Sponsor is not responsible for printing errors in these Official Rules or in any promotion materials found in print or on any web site. U.S. law governs the Contest.
DISPUTES: Except where prohibited, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the Participant and Sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Pennsylvania, or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Pennsylvania.
